I took this pie to church and people there liked it.
I find it to look cute and taste delicious !
It's a breeze to make, but takes a bit over 1 hour to chill and set in the fridge.
The pie dough is pate brisee, and I have the recipe for it here on the blog, then I have a layer of vanilla filling and on top I have whipped cream hardened with 1/2 envelope of gelatin dissolved in water.
You could do that in orange juice.
This is somewhat like chocolate silk pie, only the chocolate has been replaced with vanilla filling.
