Recipe for Pie Crust or for Mini Tarts

This is the only pie crust recipe that I use, so easy to make and so reliable. Freezes well and can go with any kind of filling......sweet or not.

Ingredients for 1 crust that fits into a 9 inches pie pan:
1 and 1/4 cups flour (or 175 gr)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 TBSP sugar (or 15 gr)
1/2 cup unsalted butter (or 115 gr or 1 stick)
1/8 to 1/4 cup ice water (40 to 70 ml)

Directions:
Cut the butter into the flour and stir everything very quickly so the butter doesn't melt.
Or you could place the dry ingredients (flour, salt, sugar), followed by the butter cut into 1/2 inch pieces and the iced water into a food processor and pulse until you get a crumbly dough.
Remove it from the food processor and knead by hand until it comes together.
Use as is or freeze.
Bake at 350 F for 10 minutes or until nicely baked and light golden.
Works great for me every time !
