Cabbage Salad with Pork and Rosted Garlic Mashed Potatoes


As the title says, we had pork steak (which I fried in a non stick skillet for 3 minutes on each side, with very little oil (about 1 teaspoon) and salt and pepper) which was matched with mashed potatoes (that had the wonderful addition of roasted garlic which brought the dish to a whole different level) and cabbage salad.
Jeff doesn't like cabbage, but I do.
I just chopped some cabbage, added some oil, salt, pepper and lemon juice. Tossed and it was just so fresh, crisp and so good !
I missed a good cabbage salad !
